Deloris Smith Sisters United By Love
Deloris (Dee) Smith

Deloris is part of a family with strong Christian beliefs.  She had a clear understanding what she was taught about Jesus Christ, yet she really had not experienced God for herself.  She searched for the relationship that was missing in her life.  One day she truly answered the call of Jesus, and discovered what her heart had been thirsting for all her life.  She fell in love with the lover of her soul, Jesus Christ, and committed her life to Him.   Over the years, Deloris has come to realize that without Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, she could do nothing in life without Him.   She has a passion for sharing, encouraging, uplifting women, and young ladies about the gospel of Jesus Christ.  She has ministered to women in love and with compassion  through the teaching of God's Word that they can become a person of purpose.  She has served in her home church as a youth Sunday school teacher, and a youth choir director.  Deloris home church was Grace and Truth Community Church in Jacksonville, Florida, under the leadership of Pastor Donnie Pierce Sr.  There she served as a teacher of The Women Christian Development, and on the Ambassadors for Christ Outreach Ministry.   With that passion, God has birthed the desire to start Sisters United By Love where women and young ladies can come together and share their journey, and encourage each other through Jesus Christ.   Deloris has a love for writing devotions, and has published her first book, entitled “A Rocking Chair Experience with God.”  She is also an awesome and gifted Christian women's speaker.
Deloris attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (The Women’s Ministry Institute) with completion in Biblical Womanhood and Reaching Post Modern Women.  Deloris retired from AT&T Advertising Solution after 33 years of service.
Deloris has relocated to Villa Rica, Georgia with her husband, Michael.  Where they presently server at Kingdom Dominion Church under the leadership of Pastor Calvin Tibbs in Villa Rica, Georgia.
They have three adult sons, Dominique, Dante, and William Michael, and five grandchildren.  She enjoys spending time with her family, having lunch with girlfriends, reading, and singing in the church choir.   Deloris finds her most pleasure in reading, and studying the Word of God.  Deloris believes in using her God-given gifts and talents to be an ambassador for the kingdom of God.  Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 that says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose."
