So Thankful

So Thankful
Lead me by your “truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me.        All day long I put my hope in you.”
Psalm 25:5
I was awakened this morning from a dream that I dare not even write down.  I search for comfort in His word.  Lead me by your “truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me.  All day long I put hope in you”(Psalm 25:5).  As I read those words my spirit is refreshed and I remembered how His truth will set us free (John 8:32).  You are the one Lord who leads me into all truth.  Oh Lord, you are the one who will teach me your ways.   You and only you Lord are the one who saves me.  In all my ways I will acknowledge you because you will direct my path (Proverbs 3:6).
Let’s Pray:  I thank you for being an all knowing, all loving, and all merciful God.  My steps are ordered by you.  I thank you I can seek you in all things that pertain unto life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).  You will lead me into all truth and teach me your ways.  I will declare your name, Jesus, always!   You are my Lord, my Savior, my Rock and my Redeemer and it is in your name I pray.  Amen.

Let it Rain

Let it Rain
Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp.  He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures.
Psalm 147:7-8
Today is a rainy day and I can remember those can be some of the saddest days for so many people including myself.   But, now that I am a child of the King I have learned to treasure rainy days.  The bible tells us in Psalm we should “Sing out your thanks to the Lord”!  I find myself enjoying these rainy days because God provides rain for the earth, which makes everything grow, but also it cleanses the air from unwanted germs, particles, and erosion.  More importantly,it reminds me of the quiet times with Him, by hearing the soft drops calms my spirit and allows me to think about His goodness, His provision, His grace and His mercy.  I go about my house singing praises to our God!  It used to be said when it rains, God is crying.   Well, I not really sure about that, but I know Jesus wept (John 11:35).  I think back to those sad days and I like to think when I cried He cried with me.  I remember feeling Him comforting me.  So, if you have sad rainy days, remember that Jesus is with you and maybe He is allowing something in you to grow, to be cleansed or healed.  Whatever it may be “Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp” and soon you will see the Son-shining through.
Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, thank you for the rain.  We thank you because you know what we are in need of and You make the provision. Thank you because You send the rain to replenish, to provide growth, to remove unwanted things not just from the earth, but from our heart.  Thank you for loving us that you sent the Holy Spirit to comfort us and let us know we are loved.  Thank you Jesus that we can sing praises to You and we can find enjoyment in You when we say “Let it Rain”!  Amen.

We praise and worship our Lord

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
(Psalms 100:4 KJV)

Whatever you are praying for, one of the best ways to start is with praise and worship.  Have you ever experienced that through your praise and worship it will keep your heart right before God and make a way for you to hear His voice?  That is where the atmosphere for change takes place.
During your praise and worship yokes are broken, healing can take place, blessing will flow, and lives will be changed.  There is a transformation that takes place when we praise and worship our heavenly Father.   I would love to hear your thoughts and your experience when you have come before Him with a heart of thanksgiving and praise.
Let's pray:  Lord, we come before You with a thankful heart. We enter into your courts with praise because of who You are.  For you are our Redeemer, our Lord, our God and beside You there is no other.  So weworship You, the only true living God, in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

You are Beautiful, Yes You!

You are Beautiful, Yes, You!
Some days do you wake up as I do, and look at yourself in the mirror, and wonder am I beautiful?  Keep in mind, your hair is not combed, and your face is not washed. Are you beautiful?  Can you answer that question about yourself?
We sometimes want to compare ourselves with other women on television who seem to be beautiful when they wake up in the morning.  Do you remember the old saying “beauty is only skin deep," which mean one can have beauty on the outside but inside well, to put it nicely unpleasant?  What about the saying, “beauty is only in the eyes of the beholder," who is the beholder?  Are they really beautiful?  This morning I thought about how God sees us. The bible says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalms139:14 NIV).  We are made special by our loving Father, and His work is wonderful.  In the book of 1Samuel 16:7 it says, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”  The Lord’s desire for us is that our heart be filled with His love, and that will outshine anything.  We have something special that the world doesn't have and that's the beauty of Jesus Christ, and the presence of theHoly Spirit.  So, remember “You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way” (Song of Solomon 4:7).   Wake up each morning and thank Him because we are created in His image, and we are chosen by Him.
So, I can wake up looking myself in the mirror knowing my hair is not combed and my face is not washed, and I have the assurance that I am beautiful!  Yes, I AM BEAUTIFUL, because of the one who created me!   He has changed my heart, and I am beautiful in every way that matters to Him, and so are you!  Sure, I still comb my hair, wash my face, and at times put a little make-up on. Please don’t miss this; it is more about the inward beauty that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ that really matters in this life.  If no one has told today, let me be the first to say: "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, YES, YOU!
Let’s pray: Lord, thank you that each morning you give me new mercy, great is thou faithfulness.  I am beautiful in everyway because I am created in your image. You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God, thank you for Your word.  Thank you that our beauty is not based on the world standards, but because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and the finish work at Calvary cross.  I know I am the apple of your eye, and my confidence is in You.   I will always praise and declare Your name above all.  It is in Jesus’s name I pray.  Amen.

Just have Little Talk with Jesus!

Sisters United by love
Have this ever happen to you?  Prayer is our way to communicate with the one who knows us, who created us, and loves us.  Their is an old song that we use to sing:
Now let us have a little talk with Jesus.  Let us tell Him all about our troubles.  He will hear our faintest cry, and He will answer, by and by."
Wow, don’t we feel better after we talk with Jesus?  So much has happened in the last few weeks, evil is always present.  One thing we can be sure of is that Jesus is on the throne, and He is a faithful God. So many are hurting, and so many still don’t know that Jesus is the answer.  "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
So join with me in declaring the name of Jesus, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings!  Let us continue to up lift the families and love ones in Newtown Connecticut.

Thank you Lord for Finding Me!

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day" (John 6:44).
Dear God,
I  remember how my life was before I met Jesus. There was confusion, anger, immorality, pain, sadness and definitely I had no peace.  I thank you, Lord, for finding me and calling me.  I am so thankful for Jesus and the gift of salvation, peace, joy and His abundance of love.  I now know that He called me before the foundation of the world.  I will declare His name and let others know about His great mercy and grace.   I am so thankful I can now be called a child of God.  What a wonderful feeling to know you are loved, and He has taken a nobody like me, and  transform me into a somebody through Jesus Christ.    He is able to do the same thing  for you.  "If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).  Do it today for tomorrow is not promised.
Thank you for finding me

The importance of choices cannot be over estimated. If you want to know what you'll be like in the future, check out the choices you're making today. What you're doing now, so you will be then. It's something of a riddle. Over time your choices change for the better, I hope! The choices you make right now will determine whether or not you fulfill God's design for your life. Whatever you're dealing with right this minute, the next five minutes, the next hour, tomorrow, or forever-make positive decisions to love, honor, and serve the Lord. Make the choices that will alter your world.and the lives of others in positive ways. As Joshua challenged God's people, "Choose...whom you will serve" (24:15).
Lord, every time I turn around I have to make decisions.
Should I get up? Should I eat this or that? Should I discipline my kids?
Should I buy this? Should I volunteer for this project?
Please give me guidance so I will choose Your path and do Your will.
